I’ve been writing about the Great Reset and the coming challenges. That can get lost in the clouds so here’s an example of how that big story hits the ground through the lens of a single issue. These thoughts came quickly last night and I chose to send them out as is and not make an “essay” out of them.
They’re also a personal clarification of a thread in a book I’m writing on men. The book will say a lot to women too as our fates are fully entwined. Note that the generalizations below don’t apply to all women or all men.
Men and women are two cultures, currently highly suspicious of each other.
We're also suspicious of our own sex and don't know if we can trust them.
Men and women are two halves of a whole but often we can't see the whole.
Emotional and spiritual health for both sexes means seeing the other as our necessary other half.
Related, respect and love for the other sex is the key to personal integrity, even when it seems difficult to hold. Especially when it seems difficult to hold.
The now-institutionalized disconnection to the other is a form of psychosis but is the norm in the population so it feels . . . normal. The normalization means we’re socially encouraged to maintain the sense that "we're in the right" othering the other. We’re not.
Since roughly the 60s, several generations of this normalization have disrupted families so that children grow up with less experience of, and understanding of the balance and harmony between the sexes.
The battle between the sexes is an ancient and honorable human struggle but it's lost its moorings in reality and the unmooring has become institutionalized.
The love-battle between women and men erupted into feminism, which we could rename "encouraging severe modern imbalance between men and women." I doubt that ESMIBMAW will catch on as a meme though.
The conflict between women and men is part of a larger cultural / political conflict that’s morphed from Hegel's dialectical materialism. Marx took this and developed it into communism; the Frankfurt school adapted Marxist ideology for the modern self.
Women didn't so much invent feminism, but adopted and adapted from this earlier ideology, one they shared with men.
Women and men both contributed to the growth and status of feminism and are equally responsible for it. Neither sex is a victim but both feel like they are.
The purported purpose of this ideology as conceived by Marx is to sow enmity and conflict so that a higher authority and value (summarized as communism) can save us. The actual purpose is what happened in actual communism.
This ideology is a form of mania and group think. It's in the polarization visible all over the world now: the Covid mania, corporate-government fusion to control populations, the war in Ukraine, Agenda 30 and so on.
By coincidence as it turns out, tomorrow is International Women’s Day so offer the above as my contribution to that.
As a man I hope to be an ally to women in the quest for mutual respect and love.
Here’s to forging bonds of unity and restoration and love. We and the children who are the future deserve no less.
Here’s a short video that riffs off the ideas in this post and hints at what some of the way forward might look like.
Dear Reader,
Thanks so much for reading and thinking and feeling along with me. Your feedback and interest inspire me and let me know what’s important.
Till soon,

Well said, Andrew.
Gee, I wish I'd known this so I could've stayed with an abusive asshole and let my sons be nurtured in the warm embrace of a man asserting his 'conjugal rights' and gaslighting wisdom over his happy homemaker.
